Oil Production in North Dakota

I found a news article about oil production in North Dakota. I think this is rooted from industrialization because the rise of oil production has increased many jobs for many people just think the sugar plantations in Cuba during the industrialization. The news article states, “Regulators say North Dakota produced a record high of 1,184,635 barrels of oil a day in September.” The increase of machinery used in the production of oil has allowed many people to have a job. The primary source that I found that explains the importance of this issue is statistics from Independent Statistics & Analysis U.S. Energy Information Administration website. Another source I found was from an article titled North Dakota’s Oil Boom is a Blessing and a Curse. The article shows the importance of the oil boom to North Dakota.
